STA441s20 SAS Example Set Fifteen: Within-cases for binary data on the recursion data

In the recursion data, subjects (all children, in this subset of the data) were shown pictures and asked to distinguish between the designated picture and two others. Each designated picture was designed to elicit one of the following grammatical structures:

Condition A. Recursive possessives (Elmo's sister's ball)
Condition B. Recursive comitative (with) modifiers. (The baby with the woman with the flowers)
Condition C. Recursive locative modifiers (The dog next to the tree next to the house)
Condition E. Recursive relational nouns (the box of cans of tomatoes)

In the data, a designated picture is called an "item." Age is also recorded. Responses were coded in various ways. The one we will consider is "All Targets," which is the most generous version of Yes, the subject used a recursive grammatical form.
