The Noise data are copyright 2016 Jerry Brunner and are protected by the Creative Commons license. The Monkey data are from a study in Science by Zola-Morgan and Squire (1990). Morally they should be in the public domain, though the publisher probably owns the legal rights. I copied the data from The Statistical Sleuth by Ramsey and Schafer (2002), who got permission from the publisher. The Mantids data are copyright 2008 Stephanie Hill, who gave permission to use them for non-commercial purposes. Dr. Hill did not specifically authorize their protection under the Creative Commons license.
