Homework data sets

Except where indicated, all data sets are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.

• opensat.data: A reconstructed data set based on a Minitab data set called GRADES.
• origIQ.data: This data set is taken from a commercial textbook (The statistical sleuth by Ramsey and Schafer, 2002), and cannot be protected by a Creative Commons license.
• openpigs.data: A reconstructed data set based on Fuller's (1987) pig farrowing data.
• manager.data: A reconstructed data set based on a covariance matrix in Jorekog (1978, p. 465). Joreskog got it from Warren, White and Fuller (1974). Yes, it's the same Fuller who is responsible for the pig data. He was at the University of Iowa, and Iowa is a farm state.
• poverty.data: I believe this is copyrighted material, and cannot be protected by a Creative Commons license.
